Backup eDocStore database

As you continue to make use of eDocStore you will add data to your MySQL database. As a precaution against system failure, you should safely store, on other media, a copy of the data held within your database. In addition, you should backup the `docstore` folder on your system - this folder contains all the documents that you have uploaded. The default location for this folder is within the root of your eDocStore installation on your web server.

We also recommend that you keep backup copies of your config.php and db.php files (both are found in the lib folder within the root folder of your eDocStore installation).

In the event of a catastrophic failure of your system you will be able to re-install eDocStore, retrieve your files into your docstore folder and using a client application such as myPHPAdmin or Front-End to add the data into your database from the *.sql backup file that you have taken.

To create a backup file click 'Create Backup File' and it will be listed in the list below. You can manage these files as you would normally, but they will not appear within your normal file list and are only available from the 'Backup Database' option on the menu.
